The department encourages faculty members and students to conduct scientific research in diverse business administration fields, and they actively participate in local and international conferences and seminars. Furthermore, at Koya University, the business administration department collaborates with other universities' business administration departments to advance scientific fields and employers in the Iraqi labor market, aiming to understand their requirements and adapt to evolving trends in graduate preparation. The goal is to achieve academic excellence by implementing academic quality standards and serving as a scientific reference and leader. The major emphasizes the importance of acquiring a deep and comprehensive understanding of knowledge in a variety of subjects, including business law, human resources management, organizational behavior, and leadership, as well as family business, innovation, business ethics, and strategic management (among others), in order to make informed managerial decisions.
